  • What is Laser Engraving?
Laser technology directs a high-powered laser to the materials surface. During this process the material is vaporised or burned. When the laser beam removes a layer where it hits the material, this creates a contrast or in multi-layer materials the underneath colour appears. A permanent and abrasion-resistant laser engraving is created. More power, more material is removed.
  • What is Laser Cutting?
Laser cutting is a thermal separation process. When the laser hits the surface of the material, the material is super-heated and will melt or it completely vaporises.
  • What is acrylic?
Acrylic is a transparent thermoplastic homopolymer known more commonly by the trade name “plexiglass.” The material is similar to a polycarbonate in that it is suitable for use as an impact resistant alternative to glass.
